FULL CIRCLE
The room was filled with folding chairs, donated books, hopeful faces.
After my speech, she stood beside me quietly.
“You saved me,” she whispered.
I shook my head.
“No,” I said gently. “You saved me first.”
Because she did.
She didn’t just feed a hungry teenager.
She gave him dignity.
And sometimes, the smallest act of kindness echoes for years—
Until it comes back around.
And changes everything again.
