1 liter of vegetable or chicken broth (ideally homemade)
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 leek, thinly sliced
1 potato, diced
½ cup of rice
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic , minced
1 teaspoon of turmeric (for its anti-inflammatory effects)
½ teaspoon of ginger (powdered or freshly grated)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Juice of ½ lemon (for freshness and detoxifying effect)
Fresh parsley , for decoration
